Day 1: 

On arrival at Entebbe, you will be met and received by your driver guide from Breeze Travel Safaris; you are then transferred to Kampala and check in at the Space Hotel Apartments and Spa. Night at Space Hotel Apartments.

Day 2:

After breakfast, you will be picked by your driver guide who will drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have a stopover at the Equator to perform a simple experiment and experience the hemisphere variation then proceed for lunch at Igongo Cultural Center and Museum. On arrival you will check in the Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari Lodge. (B, L, D)

Day 3:

Early morning wakeup call at 6.00 am then have a cup tea or coffee, you will go for a game drive along Kasenyi tracks and Queens Mile in search of animals like: lions, elephants, cape buffalos, warthogs, spotted hyenas, mongoose, waterbucks, Kobs and the leopard, and then return to the hotel for breakfast. In the morning you relax by the swimming pool and possibly have a dip or you make use of the health club, and then have Lunch. At 2.30 pm it is the time to enjoy a unique two hours boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This cruise gives you a great opportunity for photography, bird watching and game viewing at close range. Then return to the Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge. (B, L, D)

Day 4:

After breakfast you drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park passing through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will search for the Tree Climbing lion and view more wildlife. You will have a picnic lunch by the Ishasha River. You will then drive through the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the evening. Dinner and Overnight: Silverback Lodge. Day 5:

After an early breakfast go to the starting point for briefing about your gorilla trekking adventure after which you will be led by experienced gorilla trackers on the slopes of the volcanoes. You will start from the site where the gorillas were encountered the day before and from here the gorilla tracking begins. Although the hike can be physically demanding, the experience ahead is amazing, and the beauty of the gorilla forest and its inhabitants are fascinating.  It is a humbling experience to stand just meters from man’s distant cousins as they eat rest, play and bond with their young ones. Follow the mountain gorillas as they range freely in the impenetrable forest, and discover their gorgeous natural habitual and the many species they share it with. You are allowed an hour with the gorillas before finally sloping down back to your lodge.

In case your trek was relatively short, you may have a guided nature walk around the lodge and the surrounding communities in the evening as you watch the pygmies’ traditional dances and culture. Return to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight: Silverback Lodge: (B, L, D)

Day 6:

After an early breakfast drive back to Kampala with a stopover for lunch at Igongo Cultural Hotel, Visit the Museum at Igongo and proceed to Kampala – Entebbe airport for your return travel back home.

Don’t forget to carry your rain gear, gloves, hat, and water proof bag for protection of your camera in case of rain.
